Estrace by David JeEstrace Review: Everything you need to know about Estrace

Estrace is the synthetic hormone which contains an estrogen called estradiol-17. Estradiol-17 is structurally identical to estradiols produced by human ovaries. Estradiol is known as the primary sex hormone produced by human body.

The primary function of Estradiol is to maintain and control the development of female sexual organs, including secondary sex characteristic and mammary glands. In addition, Estradiol is also play an important role in pregnancy. It is responsible for proliferation of endometrium and deciduas development.

Research on Estrace.

Estrace have been used mainly to treat menopause symptom. During clinical trial, Estrace have been proved to be able to alleviate menopause symptom (hot flashes; vaginal itching, burning and dryness). Furthermore, current research has also shown that Estrace can be used to prevent osteoporosis, as the administration of Estrace increase the intestinal absorption of calcium, and also increase the circulating level of vitamin D. In addition, Osteoblast (Bone cells) is found to posses receptors for estradiol. Therefore, it can be concluded that Estrace therapy might help prevent osteoporosis in elderly.

There are some parties who believe that long term continuous administration of synthetic estrogen in certain animal species can increase the frequency of carcinomas of the liver and breast. However, no clinical trial has been performed to validate this case. It is suggested that synthetic estrogen should be administered to human body at the lowest possible dose, so that it can prevent any undesirable side effects.
