How to slow aging

Everybody is getting older but nobody wants to be elderly. Especially the baby boomers, who are now nearing retirement age, desire to stay active, with young looking skin, a full head of not-gray hair, a lean, muscular body, a healthy sex drive, a sharp memory and keen vision. Luckily, medical science and research are able to find and supply products and information to help us stay feeling and acting young. All of these creams, lotions, supplements, vitamins, hormones, etc. may or may not be appropriate or even safe, depending on the unique needs of the men and women who desire their positive effects.

This Anti Aging Research web site will examine the array of products now available, evaluate their strengths, weaknesses and possible side-effects, and publish our opinions and recommendations.

Besides creams, supplements and the like, we shall also investigate services, such as elder care institutions, safety and security devices such as panic buttons, surveillance cameras and more.

Input from you, the reader, is an important element of these pages, and is welcome. Our email address is: info “at” antiagingresearch.org. As we network together, share our knowledge, and hopefully add the wisdom that comes with growing older, these pages will be a knowledge base about how to slow aging and grow old gracefully. In traditional cultures, it was (and hopefully still is) customary for elders to be honored and respected. During the later decades of the 20th century in the west, especially in the United States, this tradition was reversed, and the focus moved to younger people: teenagers and young adults. Advertisers were most interested in reaching the 18 to 24 demographics.

The pendulum, now, is swinging back in the other direction. Who knows? Perhaps it may soon be fashionable for teenagers to dye their hair gray to emulate the elders they so admire. Regardless of what may happen in the future, what is most important is that we get the useful information we need now to ensure we will see that future, and from a perspective of good health. That is the ultimate goal of this anti aging project. May you read it without the need of bifocals, with clear skin, a full head of hair and a strong libido.
